(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Cloud software and CDN provider OnApp announced on Monday that it has appointed a new chairman, and four other senior management positions. Three of the five appointments worked at Zeus Technology before it was sold to Riverbed in July 2011.

Paul Brennan, Kosten Metreweli and Pal Kondel join OnApp from Zeus Technology as chairman, CMO and EVP of global sales, respectively. Roger Lovegrove has been named CFO, and Kam Dhillon joins as VP of partner and channel development.

Brennan was previously chairman and CEO at Zeus Technology. Prior to that he has chairman of Apptix ASA, Xtractor, Trustix and VisionOSS.

Metreweli was chief marketing officer at Zeus and will work as CMO at OnApp. Prior to Zeus, Metreweli was VP global marketing at Tideway Systems.

Kondel was VP of global sales at Zeus and previously was head of enterprise sales at Interwoven.

Lovegrove, CFO, was previously at Global 360 as international finance and operations director. Prior to Global 360, Lovegrove was CFO at Lakeview Computers.

These appointments come a few months after OnApp launched its new cloud management apps for iPhone, iPad and Android mobile devices. The apps are free for anyone using clouds built with OnApp cloud software.
